Italian soprano Valentina Boi recently starred in the role of Amelia in "UN BALLO IN MASCHERA" at Teatro Regio in Parma, Alice Ford  in "FALSTAFF" in Luca Ronconi's Production at the Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova (and cover at Teatro alla Scala with Zubin Mehta), "IRIS" by Mascagni (Title role) in Livorno and Pisa, Adalgisa in "NORMA" at Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova, Garsenda in "FRANCESCA DA RIMINI" at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the title role of "TOSCA" at Macedonian Skopje Opera Theater, Mimì in "LA BOHÈME" at 69° Luglio Musicale Trapanese, Isaure in "JÉRUSALEM" for the opening night of Verdi Festival 2017 in Parma. Next engagements include: Donna Elvira in "DON GIOVANNI" and "ADRIANA LECOUVREUR" (Title role) at Teatro Filarmonico in Verona and Nedda in "PAGLIACCI" at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova.

In 2016, after traveling to Tokyo and Toyama with the contemporary opera "JUNIOR BUTTERFLY" by Shaegusa, she performed Mimì in "LA BOHÈME" at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari and debuted as the title role in "AIDA" at the Teatro Goldoni di Livorno in the prestigious Franco Zeffirelli production. For the inauguration of the Huafa Theater in Zhuhai (China) she sang Liù in "TURANDOT", the role she had also performed at the 61st Festival Puccini di Torre del Lago alongside Giovanna Casolla. In November of 2015, she debuted as Mimì in "LA BOHÈME" at the Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, conducted by Maurizio Barbacini. She also debuted the role of Giulietta in "LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN" in Pisa, Lucca,  Livorno and Novara, Lauretta in "GIANNI SCHICCHI" in Florence and Giorgetta in "IL TABARRO" in the 60th Festival Puccini di Torre del Lago, which aroused both public and critical acclaim.

She began her musical studies as a child, attending classes of violin and piano at the Music Institute Pietro Mascagni in Livorno. Parallel to her conservatory studies, from 2003 to 2010 she expanded her education by attending courses of dance and acting in various European cities with Augustì Humet, Lorenzo Mucci, Ugo Chiti, Nikolai Karpov and Saverio Marconi. During a brief, but intense stint in acting, she performed in such shows as "La Gatta Cenerentola" by De Simone and in the lead roles of various musicals in English. She received her diploma in 2010 at the Music Institute Partial L. Boccherini of Lucca and continued perfecting her studies later with Luciana Serra, Lucetta Bizzi and Luigi Roni in Milan and the highly accredited Academy of Torre del Lago. She has participated in the courses of Giovanna Casolla, Bruna Baglioni, Donata D'Annunzio Lombardi, Alberto Gazale and Laura Brioli. She perfects the study of the repertoire with Daniela Dessì, she currently studies with the baritone Federico Longhi.
